What is MFA?
MFA stands for Multi-Factor Authentication. It means you need more than just a password to log in. For example both a password and a code sent to your phone.
Why is it useful?
-
It makes it much harder for anyone unauthorised to access your account, even if they know your password.
-
It protects sensitive information such as emails, banking details or company data.
-
It reduces the risk of identity theft and fraud.
In short: MFA is like having an extra lock on the door to your digital life.
